My sketchbook is full of little doodles that capture a moment in time. Sometimes they are real life, other times they are re-imagined moments. Occasionally I veer off into the obscure just to make a lovely pattern.

Current inspiration comes from my son’s toy penguin. Penguin (a completely unimaginative name) is a pretty feisty and boisterous character for one so small. Always ready with a quick quip or ready to poo his disapproval at you. He owns a hair salon and has an assistant called Linda. His general demeanour is seething.

Welcome to my portfolio! I am a part time illustrator and artist. I draw and sketch what interests me. I use both digital and paper to create my pictures.
I have always been into drawing and painting. I went to Ravensbourne College of Art in Kent for a little while. And, apart from a blip where I just didn’t fancy being arty at all, I’ve been creating stuff ever since. Mostly little doodles, cartoons or sketches. I do like to draw on walls too (with permission of course).
Whilst working in art has never been my career, I have continued to create pictures for my own enjoyment. I am also lucky enough to work in a school on the Isle of Man which occasionally allows me to release some creativity into the world!
